Service Delta was built by logistics professionals who believed the industry could do better — faster, smarter, and with more accountability at every mile.
Service Delta was founded in 2004 by a team of freight veterans who saw the same problem repeating itself across the industry: shippers were being left in the dark, and carriers were treating reliability as optional.
We started with three trucks and one promise — that every customer would know exactly where their freight was, every step of the way. Twenty years later, we operate 12 distribution hubs, a fleet of over 800 vehicles, and a rail network spanning major US corridors.
We haven't changed what we stand for. We've just gotten much better at delivering it.
Our mission is simple: move freight with the kind of reliability and transparency that lets our clients run their businesses without worrying about logistics.
"Logistics isn't just moving things from A to B. It's keeping promises. Every shipment is a commitment we intend to keep."
— James Delaro, Founder & CEOWe believe shippers deserve full visibility into every movement of their freight — not just updates when something goes wrong.
98.7% on-time isn't a boast — it's our baseline. We build redundancy into every route so exceptions never become excuses.
Growth without responsibility isn't growth. Our electric fleet expansion and carbon offset program are core to our 2030 commitments.
These aren't words on a wall. They're the criteria we use to make every decision — from which routes we run to who we hire.
We own our results — good and bad. When something goes wrong, we tell you immediately and fix it faster.
No hidden fees, no vague ETAs, no runaround. You always know what's happening with your freight and why.
We optimize every route, every handoff, and every hub operation to shave time without sacrificing care.
Our drivers, warehouse team, and ops staff are the backbone of everything. We invest in them like it.
Cutting emissions isn't just good ethics — it's good business. Our green fleet is our commitment to the next generation.
We run proprietary tracking, AI-driven routing, and predictive maintenance so our clients always stay ahead.
